Quality Construction and Automotive-Grade Adhesive

The Cobb Tuning emblem uses quality 3M-type automotive adhesive that bonds cleanly to painted, glass, and plastic surfaces when applied correctly on a clean, dry surface. The emblem material is weather resistant for exterior use it does not fade from UV exposure, does not lift from moisture, and maintains its appearance through car washes and seasonal weather. For interior use, the same adhesive holds cleanly to common interior surface materials including molded plastic, carbon fiber, and painted metal trim.

Surface Preparation, Application, and Weather Resistance

Surface preparation is the key to a successful emblem installation. Clean the mounting surface thoroughly with an isopropyl alcohol wipe and allow to dry fully before removing the adhesive backing. Press firmly and hold for 30 seconds, then allow the adhesive to cure for 24 hours before washing or exposing to moisture. The emblem can be removed with a plastic trim tool and automotive adhesive remover without damaging paint if repositioning is required.
