Dunlop – Geomax Enduro EN91EX Tire (Rear)

Overview

We are pleased to announce the addition of our new DUNLOP GEOMAX EN91 EX to our line of premium off-road gummy tires.

Key Features

  • Specifically designed for Hard Enduro racing and riding
  • A new super soft rubber compound provides tremendous traction in the gnarliest of conditions
  • New construction has an additional ply to improve the linearity of the sidewall stiffness and enhance damping and absorption performance
  • Progressive Cornering Block Technology (PCBT) on the shoulder knobs increase surface area of the interior block, while additional tread angles enhance grip, stability and slide control
  • Unlike the standard EN91, the EN91EX is neither DOT nor FIM Approved.
  • Only offered in a 140/80-18 size

Why We Like It

  • The bias-ply carcass soaks up surface imperfections better than a radial, and it is a large part of why this tire costs what it does.
  • FIM-approved lug height, so it is legal for sanctioned competition rather than practice-only.
  • DOT approved, which means it is street legal not a closed-course tire you have to trailer to.
  • Offered in soft and soft sticky compound, so you can match rubber to surface instead of settling for one all-round option.
  • Top speed rating in this range is R (106 mph), so the rating is not the limiting factor on most bikes it fits.

Why You’d Like It

  • You ride off-road and want traction you can feel on loose and broken ground.
  • It fits 18-inch wheels.
  • These are tube-type, so plan on a fresh tube (and a rim lock if you are running low pressure).
  • This is the rear fitment pair it with the matching front if you are replacing both ends.
  • Pricing runs $174.99 for this size.
