This is the South Bend Stage 3 Endurance Clutch Kit. The Stage 3 Endurance has been designed to have a much higher torque rating than the factory clutch, and it is ideal for those with highly modified street cars, or track-dedicated race cars, drag cars, or rally cars. If you have an engine built with forged internals, a larger turbo with more boost that would greatly overpower the limits of the factory clutch, then the Stage 3 Endurance will hold the power. If you have a race car that doesn’t make a large amount of power but needs a clutch that can sustain high levels of abuse associated with racing, then the Stage 3 Endurance will provide the performance and longevity needed to survive the harsh condition associated with racing.
