The XClutch Twin Sprung Ceramic clutch kit combines the maximum torque capacity and heat resistance of ceramic friction material with the sprung hub design that gives the best engagement character for a twin ceramic disc setup. This is designed for high-performance motorsport applications — circuit, time attack, gymkhana — where very high torque capacity is required and the driver wants some compliance in the engagement to protect the transmission.

Why Sprung Ceramic for Twin Disc
The sprung ceramic disc uses a spring-damped hub to reduce shock loading on the transmission at engagement, which is important in motorsport applications where gear changes are frequent and the transmission is under sustained stress. Ceramic material provides excellent heat capacity for sustained track use, and the twin disc configuration handles very high torque levels that would overwhelm any single disc design.
