This kit is designed for vehicles that regularly see track days, motorsport events, or high-power street driving where an organic disc would be marginal.

What Ceramic Friction Material Adds
Ceramic friction material provides a higher coefficient of friction than organic, which means higher torque capacity at the same clamping force, and better heat resistance under sustained load. The engagement character of a ceramic disc is noticeably firmer than organic — the engagement zone is shorter and more abrupt, which suits performance driving but takes getting used to on the street. Full engagement is needed to prevent disc glazing with ceramic materials.
